Selling your gently-used thing to us is easy! Our Buy Center is open Mon-Sat 10-3 and operates on a first come, first served basis. We pay cash or 25% more in store credit. Your store credit is presented as a gift card which never expires and can be used in conjunction with any discounts and rewards. You have 2 options to sell to us:

1.) You can use our "Drop & Go" Option where you drop off your items, get a text when they have been processed, and come back anytime during our store hours to pick up your payment, containers, and any items we weren't able to purchase. In exchange for the convenience of the Drop & Go Selling option, please note that you do not have the option to decline our offer.

2.) You can choose to wait in store while your items are being assessed by our certified buyers. All buys are processed in the order that they are received. If you need your buy done quickly, it is recommended that you come early in the day. If you've been to our store before, you know how busy it gets! If you choose to remain in store, we can give you the option to decline our offer and take your items back with you.

All of this is explained in detail in the selling contract you sign when you drop your items off. Please let us know if you have any questions at the time you drop things off. We are happy to clarify or help in any way we can!

Anything a little sprout could wish for! Every item in our store came from a family just like yours. We're always looking for current styles, gently used clothing, shoes and accessories, indoor and outdoor toys, gear, equipment and more. We accept kids sizes newborn to teen, all seasons, any brand. Items must be freshly laundered and less than 5 years old.

There's no limit on how much you can bring! Large buys will take a little extra time, and we process buys on a first come, first serve basis.

Nope! We accept buys in any kind of bag, basket, tote or container. Just bring it in and we will take care of the rest. If you need help getting your items in the store, pop in or call us. We have carts and are happy to help you get your items in the door.

You have the option to donate the items we do not accept for resale to FosterAdopt Connect. All items donated are free to foster families in the KC area. Click here for more information.

Of course, you can also choose to take any items we are not able to purchase back with you. You'll have 48 hours from the time your buy is processed to come back and pick up any items we aren't able to purchase.

We process your items on a first come, first serve basis, so it depends on the day, your spot in line, and how much you bring us! Usually, we are able to give you our offer by the end of the day, but it may take up to 2 business days.

It is possible you could make more by selling your things on your own. We try to make your selling experience easy and safe. No waiting for things to sell, no tagging/pinning/hanging, no meeting strangers in parking lots. You just drop it off, and get a text when your payment is ready (usually the same day.) Everything in our store came from a family just like yours!

Easily increase your offer by laundering clothes within 24 hours of drop off. The more we can sell something for, the more you will get! Taking the time to clean up your items will definitely yield more money in your pocket!

We do not accept dirty, smelly or dusty items, garage sale leftovers, or roughly worn clothes with holes or large stains. Otherwise, we accept all brands of both day to day clothes and special occasion clothes, like Halloween costumes, formal wear, and sports gear! We accept gear and equipment that is cleaned up, less than 5 years old, and fully functional. We do not accept equipment that is dusty with cobwebs or recalled. Check our selling tips for our policy on selling equipment.

We accept toys that are fully functional, have all the parts/pieces/straps, and are all cleaned up! We especially love educational or engaging for those little sprouts. Check our selling tips for our policy on selling toys.

We accept all brands, but recognize that some brands are highly sought out by our customers. Those brands include anything bamboo, Under Armour, Nike, Mini Boden, Tea Collection and Hanna Andersson-- just to name a few!

Our certified buyers are specifically trained to accept children's clothing and toys/gear less than 5 years old. If you have adult sizes in favorite brands like Lululemon, Patagonia, Vineyard Vines, Aerie, Urban Outfitters, and other teen favorites, please email us at kcgrowco@gmail.com to set an appointment to sell.
